Our final week of the "How do You Walk the Walk You Talk" series is tonight for the evening group. This has been a really wonderful study and a lovely group of ladies to share the experience with.

Wow! I didn't know about this blog site until now. I am not currently in any life groups, but hope to join someday when I am able. I would like to post a blog though, so here it is:

The other night, I had trouble sleeping, from having my tooth pulled. I was up pretty late; so I decided to read in my Bible. I got to thinking about what my sister, Casey had said about Esther. She had went through a Women's Bible Study a couple of months ago. So I started reading the book of Esther. I read through the entire book, which is only 10 chapters. I was amazed at her strength, courage, faith, and love that she showed. She was an amazing women. I need to read further to learn more about her, but I just wanted to share this with yall. I encourage you all, no- I dare you all, to find a book of the Bible, and read the entire book. Then, you can blog about what you have learned also. I hope to see posts on here soon. :) I plan on doing the same. God bless you all. God loves you and so do I. ~Tammarica

Devotion - Januray 24, 2011:

For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations. -Psalm 100:5

The degree of God's love is that of which can withstand anything - and for as long as it takes!

Unlike a parent who becomes worn down by a child of constant mischief; or a spouse/loved one who becomes distant from the wear of this world, God - our Father - continues to show and give His steadfast, unconditional love - "enduring" the ways of His children and His bride - never diminishing, forever complete - for all who are called by His name.

May you find comfort in knowing that no matter what you are going thru, God, in His great mercy, will never withhold His love for you.....

Got this from a fellow crafter - thought I would share!

HOW TO STAY YOUNG

1.  Try everything twice.
On one woman’s tombstone she said she wanted this epitaph:
“Tried everything twice. Loved it both times!”

2.  Keep only cheerful friends.
The grouches pull you down.
(Keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches!)

3. Keep learning:
Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever…
Never let the brain get idle.  ’An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.’
And the devil’s name is Alzheimer’s!

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5. Laugh often, long and loud.
Laugh until you gasp for breath.
And if you have a friend who makes you laugh,
spend lots and lots of time with HIM/HER.

6.. The tears happen:
Endure, grieve, and move on.
The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourselves.
LIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love:
Whether it’s family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever..

Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health:
If it is good, preserve it.
If it is unstable, improve it.
If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9. Don’t take guilt trips..
Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county,
to a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
I love you, my special friend.

11. Forgive now those who made you cry. You might not get a second
chance..

And if you don’t send this to at least 4 people – who cares?
But do share this with someone.

Remember! Lost time can never be found.

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of
battle.

Wine does not make you FAT ….

- it makes you LEAN ….
(Against tables, chairs,  floors, walls and ugly people.)

Have a great day!
